The concept of makeover is simple. Sometimes it is enough to move around some peaces of furniture, change some accessories and you have a new environment.

Since it is less expensive and less tiring than elaborate renovation work, you can afford a new decor, even seasonal.

An idea that could boost your budget advantageously would be to sell some items you no longer need.

Recovery: We are in the era of recovery. Take a little time to review objects and furniture to keep (tables, lamps, etc.). In the case of paintings, maybe you still like the canvas but not the frame ... So get a new frame....
Decluttering (make a list): These are the gadgets, some collections that do not bring us much satisfaction. This can mean different objects, such as: decorative objects, books, videos, jewelry. Identifying the magnitude of the task allows you to estimate how much time you will need to complete it. Imagine the end result.
Lighting: Never neglect the lighting aspect. If it makes sense, the desired mood will be successful. In some cases, it is better to have some extra lights rather than a ceiling fixture that does not do justice to the decor or is inadequate for some activities of the members of the house.
Shop: If you have items to buy, start with those you can not change the color. Ex .: Armchair, comforter. It is easier to match the color of the walls with the color of the chair than the other way around.  Respect your list, your budget.
